These shoes are actually comfortable!!!the elastic straps are soft and the velcro makes both straps adjustable. I had a lapiplasty several years ago and Joe problems with sensitivity and nerve damage in that area and these shoes don’t irritate it. My feet are bad with bunions and Hallux rigidis and they work better. I think these are perfect for seniors with feet troubles.
