I bought it for my wife prior to her trip to cold Russia in January. The boots have survived the freeze, the slit, the rain...very nice.
My wife loves them, and that's what is important. She wore them a few times in the snow so far and as long as your not tromping through the water puddles they hold up just fine.
For now, I ADORE these boots. They are lightweight, crazy comfy, warm and dry. I've walked about 5 miles total in them and with a 10 month old baby on my back or chest (backpack carrier or front carrier) in zero to minus ten degree F weather in northern MN in a few inches to a foot of snow and/or icy roads. The grip, brand new anyway, is crazy sticky.
Mostly bought these for shoveling and they keep my feet warm. I am only outside in them for about 30 minutes at a time but they do the job, even if I am wearing thin socks. They seem comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to wear them longer. They look great and fit as expected. Not sure if they are waterproof because I haven't tested that.
